WHAT IS NYMPLASTY?

Nymphoplasty, or labiaplasty, is surgery to reduce the labia minora, which removes excess skin. This surgery tries to make the woman regain self-esteem and feel good about her body.

WHEN DO I REALLY NEED TO DO THE NYMPLASTY?

Contrary to what many people think, it is common for many women to have small or enlarged labia. Surgery is indicated when they begin to feel uncomfortable wearing tighter clothing, pain or embarrassment during intercourse. In addition, the increase in the size of the vaginal lips can cause vaginal dryness and/or infections caused by repetitions due to the difficulty in sanitizing the region. All of this is a reason for women to look for the solution in nymphoplasty surgery.

WHY DO SMALL LIPS GROW?

Most cases of hypertrophy (enlargement) of the vaginal lips is genetic in origin, but it is also associated with other causes, such as: hormonal disorders in adolescence or menopause, inappropriate use of anabolic steroids that cause hormonal dysfunction, obesity or other diseases that cause hormonal disturbances, sagging caused by pregnancy and childbirth.
