REDUCTION OF THE MOUNT OF VENUS

The mount of Venus is the name given to the accumulation of fatty tissue immediately above the vaginal region or in men above the insertion of the penis.

​

RECOMMENDATION


Women and men who have a small amount of adipose tissue in the pubic region that cannot be eliminated with physical activity or diet.

​

MAIN REASON FOR CONSULTATION


Accumulation of fat in the pubic region, which can cause physical and/or aesthetic discomfort, or when wearing tight clothes that show the pubic region.

​

ANESTHESIA


It can be performed with epidural or sedation, together with local anesthesia.

RECOVERY


Generally, the patient returns to work 3 to 5 days after the procedure, avoiding physical activities. Sexual intercourse must be avoided for a minimum period of 14 days. It is not necessary to remove the stitches as they are made of absorbent material.
